'In A Quiet Room' Accepted to Georgia Film Festival!

"In A Quiet Room" has been selected to be included in the 2025 Georgia Film Festival!
The festival will take place Oct. 16 - 18, 2025 in Gainesville, GA, with "In A Quiet Room" to screen on Saturday, Oct. 18. Additional scheduling and ticketing information will be made available on the festival's website.
Sponsored by the University of North Georgia, Kodak Film Labs, and others, and partnered with Film Impact Georgia, the Georgia Film Festival "celebrates filmmakers and films based in Georgia and the southeast" with a focus on "bringing new stories to light."
To date, "In A Quiet Room" has garnered official selection status for seven festivals, winning four awards and three additional nominations along the way.
Lead actor Karen Carlson won "Best Lead Performance" at the North Carolina Film Festival this month after picking up a "Best Actor" award at the Georgia Shorts Film Festival last year; writer/director James Faucett won 'Best Georgia Filmmaker at the Broad Street Film Festival in March; and the film was awarded "Best Narrative Short" at the St. Auggie Shorts Film Festival in February.
